Intellectual Property and Technology Law

We regularly assist our individual and business clients with state, federal, and international trademark and copyright registrations and maintenance to ensure accurate and comprehensive protection of their intellectual property. We also provide counsel regarding software and licensing agreements, protection and preservation of intellectual property rights, and other Internet and technology-based agreements.  As our clients grow, it becomes more important to protect and maintain their goodwill and recognition in the marketplace.

If the need arises, we have the experience to handle enforcement and defense actions in state and federal courts, before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and with Internet‑based tribunals to protect our clients’ intellectual property rights, including trademarks, trade names, copyrights, and names, images, and likenesses.

We have also negotiated numerous endorsement deals for athlete and celebrity clients, successfully protected copyrighted architectural and house plans for several homebuilders in multiple federal courts, successfully pursued cybersquatters trying to maintain websites that infringe our clients’ intellectual property rights, negotiated software agreements with national airlines, negotiated work-for-hire agreements, and assisted multiple start-ups with all trademark and copyright matters.
