Rochelle D. Prins is a litigator focusing on civil and commercial matters. She represents individuals and companies of all sizes throughout the litigation process, including pre-litigation evaluation and negotiations, discovery, depositions, motion practice, oral argument, alternative dispute resolution, and trial. Rochelle takes the time to discuss each client’s interests and needs, develop a strategy suited to that client, and pursue resolution in a timely and effective manner.
Rochelle benefits from her previous experience as a senior associate at a well-respected insurance defense firm in Phoenix. During that time, her practice included general tort litigation, indemnity disputes, insurance coverage and bad faith, premises liability, dram shop, products liability, wrongful death, construction defect, and appellate practice in state and federal courts.
Rochelle’s experience includes multiple jury trials resulting in defense verdicts for her clients, who were also awarded costs and sanctions following their success at trial. She has extensive experience in crafting and arguing motions in both state and federal courts on various issues including summary judgment on liability, dispositive motions on damages, key discovery issues, and awards of fees and costs in favor of her clients.
While attending law school here in Phoenix, Rochelle served as Vice President of Finance of the Student Bar Association; was involved in Jurimetrics, the Journal of Law, Science, and Technology; and interned at the United States Bankruptcy Court and the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.
