Jeffrey D. Harris practices civil and commercial litigation with Titus Brueckner & Levine PLC. He enjoys building relationships with his clients and is committed to serving them effectively and helping them to receive excellent results. Jeff believes in the importance of carefully listening to his clients’ needs, goals, and concerns so that he can help them comfortably settle their disputes and achieve their objectives, whether that be through trial or through alternative dispute resolution. He also believes that understanding the opposing party’s interests provides a benefit to both sides, as it enables both parties to be more likely to find common ground and reach an amicable solution that is mutually beneficial, if one is possible and desired.
Knowing the trust his clients place in him, Jeff gives them the same level of representation that he would seek for himself or for a family member. To that end, he enjoys providing thorough preparation, careful analysis, economical writing, dependable strategy, and passionate advocacy to every company and individual he is privileged to represent.
Jeff focuses on representing companies and individuals in all aspects of civil and commercial litigation. He is experienced in successfully representing large and small companies, public entities, and individuals in trials, arbitrations, mediations, settlement conferences, depositions, and hearings.
Jeff draws on his recent experience as a senior associate of one of Phoenix’s most respected insurance litigation firms, where he defended matters involving allegations of personal injury and wrongful death, construction defect, and property damage, and where he successfully negotiated, in less than one year, settlements saving his clients an aggregate of over $2,000,000.
He also benefits from his prior experience practicing law with a firm in Utah, where he handled civil litigation, domestic disputes, criminal defense, and real estate matters in addition to managing the firm’s personal injury caseload.
In law school, Jeff served as captain of the international moot court team, vice-chair of the trial advocacy team, and lead article editor of the International Law and Management Review. He competed internationally and in cities across the United States as a member of the international moot court team and the school’s first National Baseball Arbitration Competition team. He was named champion of the Woody Deem Trial Advocacy Competition and a finalist in the annual BYU Negotiation Competition.
Jeff is active in his community and church and is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Arizona, Utah State Bar, J. Reuben Clark Law Society, and Phi Delta Phi. He enjoys volunteering with the American Red Cross, Boy Scouts of America, and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
