David A. Fitzgerald practices in the area of business law and commercial litigation. In connection with his transactional practice, Mr. Fitzgerald has represented clients in a wide variety of matters, including business formations and dissolutions, mergers, acquisitions, real estate transactions, lending transactions, and contract negotiations. His litigation experience includes contractual and commercial disputes, insurance receiverships, and creditors’ rights actions. He also has experience in probate litigation.

Prior to relocating to Arizona and joining the firm, Mr. Fitzgerald practiced with a large Connecticut-based firm in the areas of institutional finance and business law. Mr. Fitzgerald was admitted to the State Bar of Arizona in 2001.  He is also a member of the Connecticut Bar.

Mr. Fitzgerald received his Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1998. While in law school, he was a Notes and Comments Editor for the Connecticut Law Review. Mr. Fitzgerald completed his undergraduate studies at Tulane University, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Management degree in 1988.

Mr. Fitzgerald is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and the Scottsdale Bar Association.

Mr. Fitzgerald now resides in Scottsdale with his wife Laura, and their daughter Emily and son Bryce.
