We have represented receivers before the SEC, IRS, and state insurance departments. We have been instrumental in obtaining the IRS’s issuance of revenue procedures. These representations included that of Farm & Home Insurance Company and related companies.

We have litigated at various levels of the federal and state court systems, including a successful argument before the Supreme Court of Georgia on behalf of an Arizona insurer in receivership.

We also successfully defended a national bank against claims of breach of contract brought by the FDIC, as receiver for an insolvent bank. This representation culminated in a stipulated dismissal of the FDIC’s claims, with prejudice.
