We offer expertise in complex commercial and residential real estate transactions on behalf of builders, developers, investors, individual land owners, contractors, joint venture partners, and homeowners’ associations. Members of our firm negotiate loan documents on behalf of lenders and borrowers in real estate loan transactions, REO and OREO sale, workouts, forbearance agreements, and modifications. We handle the negotiation of purchases and sales, title reviews, development and entitlement, management and financing for residential communities, office and industrial buildings, hotels, shopping centers, and other properties. We frequently deal with leasing, zoning, land use, landlord/tenant, water law, and state and federal registration issues for lenders, individuals, and businesses. We also assist with property tax appeals, foreclosures, trustee's sales, short sales, note purchases, dees-in-lieu of foreclosure transactions, property tax redemptions, and other matters involving distressed assets.
