Paralegals
Caryn D. Benjamin has been a paralegal since 2003 in the areas of real estate, business, corporate, and intellectual property law. Ms. Benjamin interfaces directly with many of our clients, including homebuilders, developers, lenders, property owners and business owners. She often serves as the facilitator with escrow agents and title officers on behalf of our clients who we represent as buyers and sellers. Ms. Benjamin’s practice extends to real estate and business contract matters, complex title and survey review, real estate closings, trademark and copyright registrations, and business formations.
Ms. Benjamin earned her paralegal certification from Phoenix Career College in 2003. She graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate and has maintained an Arizona real estate license since 1998. While attending Penn State, she was a member of the Women’s Track Team. Her highest ranking was 6th in the nation in the long jump at 18’ 11 ¾” and 8th in the U.S. in the heptathlon.
Ms. Benjamin was born and raised in Connecticut and resides in Scottsdale.
Sheila G. Sawyer is a paralegal assisting in the areas of litigation and corporate law. She has worked in the legal field since 1992. During that time, Ms. Sawyer has gained copious experience in many areas of law. She works closely with our clients, providing excellent service.
Ms. Sawyer obtained an Associates Degree in Legal Assistant Studies from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri, and obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Missouri.
Ms. Sawyer was born and raised near St. Louis, Missouri, and currently resides in Scottsdale with her husband, Scott, and their daughter.
